Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubian magmatites, old mine workings. Series of old, possibly mediaeval pits, up to 30 m deep. Relics after exploitation of polymetals along margin of the Havlíčkův Brod mining field. Traces of sulfide mineralization with galena, sphalerite, arsenopyrite and pyrite minerals were found there together with quartz-ankerite gangue material. This locality is situated in the fine grained muscovite-biotite Lipnice granite as a part of Melechov Massif.
