Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubian magmatites. Series of small abandoned pit quarries. Muscovite-biotite granite, so called Lipnice granite was quarried there. This granite contains some biotite nests and enclosures of paragneisses and migmatites. Granite is only slightly weathered and fractured along Q, S and L lines. That is why also large massive blocks could be excavated.
