Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Bohemian Moldnubicum. Series of outcrops along morphologically distinct ridge with ruins of castle Orlík. They consist of slightly migmatized medium- up to coarse grained paragneiss. Traces of migmatization are expressed by concentration of potassium feldspar, quartz and cordierite into streaks and lenses. So this rock can pass into stromatitic migmatite. Detailed folding can be observed.
