Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Rocky outcrop in a ravine of Černý potok (creek) and its left tributory near Otovice village. The sequence of Upper Olivětín Member (Broumov Formation) in a facies of Walchia Mudstone: dark grey mudstone to claystone with remnants of Walchia sp., a bank of bituminous limestone (the Otovice Limestone Horizon, Olivětín Member, Broumov Formation) with remnants of fossil fish, probably Paramblypterus sp. and ferns of Autunia (Callipteris) conferta type.
