Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Small mining pits. Jasper, agate, amethyst, smoky quartz and rock crystals were excavated there. These minerals occur in serpentinized and talc rich ultrabasic rocks and in the phyllites of the Zábřeh Group. Gems has been collected both by professionals and laymen since 19th century. The locality is recommended for protection.
