Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Moldanubicum, magmatites. Giant rocky outcrop overlooking a brook channel. The rock is classified as coarse grained porphyridc biotite granite. It contains potassium feldspar phenocrysts as large as several centimeters. Tabular crystals of plagioclase are sericitized. Biotite is chloritized. Dark minerals are also present together with apatite and sphene.
