Short characteristics of the site:
The Barrandian Palaeozoic. Březové Hory ore deposit, Vojtěch mine. One of the largest deposits of Ag-Pb-Zn ores in the Bohemian Massif. In the mine clayey shales, siltstones and greywackes of the Cambrian Sádek Formation are exposed. Vertical shaft of this mine reached in 1883 a depths exceedng 1000 m. This mine serves as an example of mining industrial architecture of the 19th century.
