Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubian magmatites. Rocky outcrops on a flat ridge expose interesting albite-Li-muscovite-apatite-topas granite rich in phosphorus (the Homolka type). This stock-like intrusion follows tectonic line. Granite radiometric age is 315 Ma and so it represents one of the youngest stages of a Variscan volcanism. Also pegmatite vein is present. Periglacial weathering phenmomena are also visible.
