Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubicum, Šumava Mts. Long flat valley with rocky outcrops. Bedrock consists of pearl gneiss, partly also of biotite, sillimanit-biotite and garnet-biotite paragneiss. Valley floor is filled by flood plain Pleistocene-Holocene sediments. Protected locality of loddon lilly (summer snowflake, Leucojum vernum).
