Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Mldanubicum, metamorphic units, Šumava Mts. Summits and slopes of two elevations, also abandoned shelf quarry. Outcrops belong to the Moldanubian Variable Group and consist of migmatized cordierite-biotite paragneiss with massive interlayer of crystalline limestone body. Greater part of limestone horizon was exploited in a shelf quarry in the past. Nature monument protecting disseminated non-forest vegetation.
