Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
This locality is clled "Medvědí hora - the Bearś Mount". Its two summits have been modelled by glacial processes. Beneath several frost cliffs large areas are covered by block fields. The underlying rock is represented by the fine grained two mica granite of the Eisgarn type. On the contrary, on elevations porphyric biotite granite of Weinsberg type crops out. The locality belongs ´to the Central Moldanubian Massif with its magmatites.
