Short characteristics of the site:
Mldanubicum, metamorphic units, Šumava Mts. Rocky outcrops and part of the small abandoned quarry. Nature Monument protecting thin granite dyke within biotite paragneisses. So called "tourmaline sun", i.e. fibrous spheroidal aggregates of black tourmaline crystals, can be found there as real geological curiosity.
