Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubicum, metamorphic units, Šumava Mts. Canyon of the Boubín Brook with fir vegetation. Steep slopes are modelled by periglacial processes. Bedrock is formed by cordierite-biotite migmatite, in SW. parts of this area also by sillimanite-biootite migmatized paragneiss. Valley floor is covered by mixed fluvial deposits.
