Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Permocarboniferous, Plzeň Basin. Small abandoned quarry with outcrops of Carboniferous arkoses of the Slaný Formation. They are massive, coarse grained, whitish and yelllowish with ripple marks on basal bedding plane. In nearby outcrops lacustrine sediments of the Malesice Beds are exposed.
