Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Permocarboniferous, Plzeň Basin. Outcrops in a water flow valley. Carboniferous siltstones of the Slaný Formation (Malesice Beds) crop out there. There are greyish and whitish, horizontally bedded with some sandy interlayers. Fine rippple marks occur on bedding planes. Relics of fossil flora were found.
