Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Tertiary relics in the Bohemian Massif. Active gravel and sand with a series of fluvial sands and gravels with several types of bedding and wash-outs. Also underlying layer of clay crops out. Interesrting cryogenic structrures. Gravel is exploited in this pit.
