Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Orlice-Sněžník Crystalline. Series of outcrops in a road cut and small abandoned quarry. Leaflike orthogneiss, so called Keprník Gneiss. Alternation of rocks in different stage of metamorphic reworking. The orthogneiss is of muscovite-biotite character, with augen texture, strongly fractured and foliated.
