Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Orlice-Sněžník Crystalline. Series of small outcrops and abandoned quarry. The bedrock consists of orthogneiss of the Orlice-Sněřžžník Unit. Fine grained muscovite-biotite metagranites and augengneisses. Interesting tectonic phenomena, showing several stages of deformation, were studied in detail.
