Short characteristics of the site:
An exposure 2-6 m high in the area of a former open-pit mine at Verneřice near Hrob, Teplice area. The exposure shows sediments of the alluvial cone of the Bouřlivec Stream. Clasts are mostly composed of recrystallized and migmatitized paragneisses and of rhyolite. Clast size ranges from 1 cm to 50 cm. Matrix forms ca. 40 % of the sediment, being composed of loam and sand.
