Short characteristics of the site:
Krkonoše-Jizera crystalline. Lusatian Massif and Krkonoše-Jizera Massif. Nepheline basanite, porphyritic, with hornblende (kaersutite) phenocrysts. Subhorizontal columnar jointing is well developed, passing into platy jointing. Maximum observed values of magnetic susceptibility in the region.
