Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Ohře River valley with a section of the Lower Tertiary sediments. Outcrops of Staré Sedlo sandstones, and conglomerates. Pseudokarst features on the surface, as caves and swallow holes. This section is unique from the stratigraphical and sedimentological viewpoints, also geomorphologically interesting.
