Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
A prominent crest formed by tilted blocks of Cenomanian sandstones along the Lusatian Fault. A good view of the Lusatian Fault zone. Sedimentary structures allow to reconstruct physical parameters of sand deposition. Shear joints and slickensides make Pantheon one of the best sites for the study of deformational phases at the Lusatian Fault.
