Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Krkonoše-Jizera crystalline. Abandoned and partly levelled old quarry. The Lusatian granodiorite of the Herrenhut subtype is present in the quarry. The rock is fine grained, slightly porphyritic. Weathering profile can be observed in the section, showing stony scree, reworked eluvium and partly weathered granodiorite.
