Geology

Short characteristics of the site: Krkonoše-Jizera crystalline. Lusatian Massif and Krkonoše-Jizera Massif. Small dump near adit collar. The sequence of tuffites, sands and clays with some coal seams, mined during the 19th century. Tertiary sediments yielded interesting fossil flora. These Tertiary sediments are overlain by Tertiary basalt lava flows.
