Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Krkonoše-Jizer crystalline. Lusatian Massif and Krkonoše-Jizera Massif. Type locality of the Rumburk granite. The biotite granite is coarse grained, porphyritic, with blue-grey quartz and K-feldspar crystals larger than several centimetres. Mylonite zone occurs within the granite body. This granite is strongly and deeply weathered and crops out as boulders and blocks.
