Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Krkonoše-Jizera crystalline. Lusatian Massif and Krkonoše-Jizera Massif. Abandoned shelf quarry which represents type locality of fine grained biotite-hornblende granodiorite. This rock is porphyritic, with K-feldspar phenocrysts of rosy colour and greyish plagioclase phenocrysts. Mafic inclusions also occur.
