Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
An outcrop of silicified sandstone of the Jizera Formation, Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. A bed of conglomerate formed by quartz pebbles and ironstone clasts. Shear joints and slickensides in the proximity of the Lusatian Fault, healed by newly formed silica.
