Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Extensive outcrops of sandstones of the Jizera Formation, Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Rock pillars and caves. Strata dip WSW at an angle of 60-65°. Conglomerate beds in the sandstones contain ironstone pebbles, and are displaced by minor shear faults.
