Short characteristics of the site:
Krkonoše-Jizera crystalline. Lusatian and Krkonoše-Jizera massifs. One of the oldest peat bogs in the Jizera Mts. It is underlain by strongly porphyritic medium grained granodiorite. Along water stream Holocene fluvial sediments occur.
