Short characteristics of the site:
Bohemian Moldanubicum, metamorphic units. Abanodoned quarry exposing body of serpentinite within Moldanubian paragneisses. Serpentinite is formed mainly of mineral serpentine of antigorite character. Nearby locality exposes garnet-rich eclogite. Protected rare flora on serpentinite bedrock.
