Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Quaternary of the Bohemian Massif. Fishpond surrounded by wetlands and peat bog. Bedrock consists of granites of the Moldanubian Pluton - coarse grained porphyric two-mica granites of a Mrákotín type. This bedrock is covered by loamy and sandy deposits of congelifluvial origin. Protected vegetation of oligotropic wetlands. This locality is registered as National Nature Reserve.
