Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moravian Palaeozoic, Devonian and Tertiary.Series of old abandoned quarries, adjacent outcrops alsowith karst caves. Undulating klarst plain with numerous karst superficial phenomena. Also formed cave with recently collapsed roof occurs there. Limestones are fossiliferous, their microfauna is currently being studied. In some depressions Miocene sands can be found. This nature monuiment protects also steppe vegetation with great pasque flower.
