Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubicum, Central Massif, Quaternary. Large peat bog with peat layer as much as 4.5 m thick. Bedrock consists of granite. The feat was formerly exploited. Nature Reserve. Waterlogged forests are rimming peatland and fishpond.
