Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Series of natural outcrops, old quarries and railway cuts. This section starts with volcaniclastic and mixed sediments also with lava flows with layers rich in Wenlockian fauna. Continues with outcrops of Lower Devonian limestones with many paleontological localities. Interesting also geomorphologically, relief with karst canyon and many minor karst features.
