Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Typical example of impact of frost on rocks during the Last Ice Age. The greywackes belong to the Horní Benešov Formation of the Nízký Jeseník Culmian Facies (Lower Carboniferous, Mississippian). The features affected by frost are abundant, such as frost cliffs, talus and block streams. The locality is classified as Nature Monument and is situated in the Nature Park "Údolí Bystřice - the Bystřice stream Valley".
