Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moldanubicum, metamorphic units. Large rocky relief feature in the topmost part of steep slope as high as 100 m. It consists of calcitic-silicic rocks with transition to metaquartzites, quartzitic and quartz-biotitic gneisses. Main rock type is represented by erlan locally with garnet and/or pyroxene. Rocks are folded and foliated. Traces of periglacial weathering.
