Short characteristics of the site:
The Bohemian Cretaceous Basin. Small peat bog overlying quartzose sandstones of the Middle Turonian. Water supply was provided by accumulation of rain water in a small depression on impermeable substrate.According to older hypothesis artesian spring supplied this peat bog with water.
