Short characteristics of the site:
The Krkonoše-Lužice Crystalline. A body of crystalline limestone embedded in surrounding greenish-greyish chloritic-muscovitic and albitic mica schists passing into phyllites. Limestone quarry provides large resource reserves. This limestone is of high-purity character, CaCO3 content being higher than 97 p.c.
