Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
The Krkonoše-Jizera Crystalline. Old mine adit cut through orthogneiss, chloritic-muscovitic mica schist and skarn with magnetite. Magnetite lenses were mined already in 1525. Modern magnetometric surveys did not reveal new resources of iron ore.
