Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
International stratotype for silurian and devonian border. Rocky slope with numerous exposures. The section starts with the Kopanina Formation (Silurian, Ludlow), continues with the Požáry Formation (Silurian, Přídolí),through the Silurian/Devonian boundary beds up to the Lochkov Formation. Very instructive section studied in detail.
