Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
West Carpathians, Račany Unit. Series of natural and artificial outcrops exposing mainly sandstones of the Zlín Formation (Paleocene-Eocene). Sandstones were affected by frost weathering, cryoplanational terraces are developed in upper parts of the slope. On elevation top ruins of castle can be seen. Blocky talus is covered by rare vegetation with yellow figwort. This locality is classified as a Nature Reserve as a part of the Nature Park Hostýnské vrchy.
