Short characteristics of the site:
Complex of abandoned quarries. One of the most important Lower Devonian locality in the Barrandian. The Slurian/Devonian boundary interval is exposed together with overlying Lochkov Formation. Example of a facial development of the Lower Devonian (lochkov formation - zlíchov formation).
