Short characteristics of the site:
This locality belongs stratigraphically to the Hradec-Kyjovice Formation of the Moravosilesian Culm. Roofing slates were excavated on many places in this area and so relics of old mine workings can be found and secured. The slates display many interesting tectonic features including recumbent folds.
