Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Road cut with outcrops of coarse-grained volcaniclastic sediments. They can be classified as redeposited tephritic pyroclastic rocks. They exhibit oblique stratification and contain except of voolcanic material also clasts of Cretaceous sandstones. Volcanologically interesting locality.
