Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Kutná Hora Crystalline. Outcrop in a road cut and in nearby old quarry. Special structural types of two mica orthogneiss: Bladed (straw-like) gneiss and honeycomb gneiss. These two types are very decorative and were used for building purposes. Locality is protected.
