Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Central- and West Bohemian Late Palaeozoic. Abandoned quarry. Formerly arkoses and subarkoses were quarried there for building purposes. Sandstones contain some siltstone interbeds. Stratigrafically these sediments belong to the Slaný Formation (Stephanian B). Plant fossils can be found.
