Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
Moravicum, Dyje (Thaya) Dome. Road cut exposing body of serpentinite with högbomite. Together with serpentinite also fragments of amphibolite and pyroxenite with epidote can be found. Near the rock contact small body of fibrous hornblende asbestos occurs. Its fibres as as long as 20 cm.
