Short characteristics of the site: An abandoned quarry showing calcareous clayey to marly fine-grained sandstones with sparitic limestone beds with biodetrital admixture. Limestones also form horizons with concretions. Faunal assemblage with bivalves of the Inoceramus lamarcki group indicates a pertinence to the Jizera Formation sensu Čech et al. (1980).
