Short characteristics of the site:
A roadside exposure of subvolcanic breccia at Černčice near Horní Jiřetín. The rock of Tertiary age contains abundant fragments of crystalline rocks. The matrix is composed of volcanigenic material with amphibole columns. This body lies on an E-W structure with active Miocene-Pliocene volcanism.
