Geology
Short characteristics of the site:
An outcrop in the NNE slope of Hněvín Hill in Most, Tertiary Most Basin. It si formed by foliated biotite-muscovite orthogneiss and by orthogneisses of aplitic character. Phonolite forms the top of the hill. Orthogneiss and phonolite are overlain by a relict of conglomerate representing lacustrine-littoral facies at the base of the basin fill.
